Peacock King is written with overwhelming knowledge of mythology and religion from all over the world. Almost every stories has a mythology or religion background. The main character Kujaku (孔雀) is a Buddhist monk who specialize in exorcism, devil hunting. He is a member of Ura-Kouya, a secret organization in Japan that specialize in demon hunting.
