Biography

In November 2005, a month after forming, MIBL recorded their first EP entitled "Coaster" which was released on Periphony Records.

Originally, MIBL consisted of just Aaron Carey, Steve O'Gallagher, and Fil Jeffes, but when recording Coaster, some synth violin was added to "The Pirate Song" and due to the popularity of the song live, the band decided to recruit a violinist to recreate the sound. From there the violin started to become an integral part of the band's song writing and live sound so Amy Haynes joined the band full-time in June 2006.

In the Summer of 2006 MIBL set out on their first UK tour with Doncaster-based band Masenko, before recording their debut album. The album was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Aaron Carey and produced by MIBL. Before the album was released, MIBL went out on tour again in March–May 2007 most notably playing with bands such as Zebrahead

Later, in 2011, the band noticed some entertaining edits to their wikipedia page and considered reforming, but.. better.
