Early life

Madhu Yaskhi was born on 15 December 1960 to Kistaiah Goud and Sulochana. He is the second among six sisters and three brothers. He was adopted by his father's younger brother Pochaiah Goud and Anasuya.

He has Bachelor's degree in Arts from Nizam College, Hyderabad in 1982. He also obtained an LLB from the University of Delhi in 1985 and LLM from P. G. College of Law, Hyderabad in 1989.

Moved by the plight of farmers committing suicides due to crop failures and high debts, he left USA and returned to India. He has a law firm in New York and Atlanta, still actively working through remote operations and few visits every few months

Political career

In 2004, Madhu Yaskhi was elected as a Member of Parliament from Nizamabad. In 2009, he was re-elected from the same constituency. One of the unique features of his re-election is that 6 out of the 7 MLAs from his Parliamentary Constituency are from non-Congress parties. He is one who fought and recommended to bring the US consulate to Hyderabad. He is one who has a voice at national level to unite the leaders and bring the work forward in Telangana movement at national level. He is always in touch with his people at local and also at international level. Irrespective of parties he has gained popularity with people. He believes in smaller states will give more stability and development to the regions. He is a strong supporter of Telangana. Currently he is in USA on a short trip to meet his supporters in New York, Washington DC, California and other places. He met one of the strong supporter of Telangana state, Mr. Ramana Kanchetty, NRI, TDF Chairman and a native of Nizamabad, representing Telangana group of over 200 people in Washington DC area. Mr Madhu Yaskhi is sharing their concerns and Telangana development with his people.

Social service and charity

He founded Madhu Yaskhi Foundation in 2003 and donates a portion of his income to the foundation to provide financial assistance to the poor farmers and educate their children up to 12th standard and also to provide health care facilities with the assistance of his wife Dr. Shuchee Yaskhi.

Personal life

Madhu Yaskhi is married to Dr. Shuchee, an endocrinologist. They have two daughters, Komali and Gagana.

Controversies

In March 2011, the detective department of the Hyderabad police has established with evidence that the family of Mr Madhu Yashki, had obtained US visas by submitting fake educational qualification certificates. According to the inquiry reportthe educational certificates of Mr Vivekananda Yashki, Ms Amarijyothi Yashki, and Mr Sudhakar Yashki, brothers and sister of Mr Madhu Yashki, are fake and forged.
