Madariaga Papers are the regular publication of the Madariaga - College of Europe Foundation, a Brussels-based think tank concentrating on issues such as citizenship, economic governance, EU-China relations and conflict prevention. The Papers are read by a regular audience of civil society members in Brussels
including European Union
policy-makers, academia and think tank
representatives. The Madariaga Papers offer a distinct and original approach to EU affairs. They are free of charge and can be downloaded in PDF format from the Foundation's website at www.madariaga.org/madariaga-papers.
The papers are published on a regular basis and vary in length and topic. They are written, edited and published by research staff members of the Foundation. Presently the research staff include Pierre Defraigne
(Executive Director), Daniel Fiott (Research Fellow) and Marco Giuli (Research Fellow). For certain topics the research staff seek the assistance of technical experts from various institutions and academic bodies.
To date, three volumes have been published. The Madariaga Papers were first published through Volume 1 in 2008.
