Mad Decent is the name of the Philadelphia via Los Angeles
based record label spearheaded by Thomas Wesley Pentz, who's better known as Diplo, the Grammy-nominated producer of M.I.A’s “Paper Planes”, and one half of the collaborative music project Major Lazer
. Mad Decent is famously known for introducing new genres and artists from all the world via its website which is regularly updated with new blogs, event announcements, upcoming releases and free tracks to download The label has helped introduce Brazilian baile funk and Angolan kuduro

This summer, the Mad Decent Block Party 2011 featured a different lineup, with artists including Major Lazer
