The MRT Line 3 will be the third Mass Rapid Transit line for Klang Valley MRT to Port Klang and was being contemplated as said by Dato' Sri Idris Jala

It is one of three more rail systems to be built by 2020. The other two rail systems are the MRT Line 1 and the MRT Line 2
. Together, the three will extend the MRT network track to 150km by 2020.
