History

Development of the "Metering and Contract Management System" started in the Mid 1990's. At first it was a peak-shaving solution known as PECS. Soon this evolved into the first real MECOMS system. In 2005 a major new version was introduced, built upon Microsoft's Dynamics AX.

MECOMS has been implemented at public and private utility companies in Belgium
