. Mark A. Nicotra was recently elected to a second two year term (2009) as Town Supervisor and represents the town as a whole. Nicotra previously represented Lyncourt and Galeville on the Town Board from 2002-2007. Michael Del Vecchio, Jr. was also recently elected to a second term (2009) on the Town Board. Del Vecchio represents the residents of Lyncourt and Galeville. Nicotra and Del Veccio are both life long residents of Lyncourt.

Public Safety

Police protection is provided by the Onondaga County Sheriffs Office. Fire protection is provided by the Lyncourt Volunteer Fire Department. Ambulance service is provided by Rural/Metro Medical Services of CNY.

Education

Lyncourt is part of the Lyncourt Union-Free School District. This school district serves approximately 350 kids in grades K-8. The school district has an agreement with the Solvay Union-Free School District that allows students from Lyncourt to attend Solvay High School, although many students attend Christian Brothers Academy
