In September 2011, the brick mailbox in front of Blackwood's Dallas, Texas home was damaged in a minor traffic incident. The damage has since been repaired. The perpetrator of the accident was recently photographed in Oklahoma with the 2003 Heisman Trophy winner, Jason White.
