Moore began his career at his local club Gravesend and Northfleet, and remained there for three years which included the occasion when the club changed its name to Ebbsfleet Utd in May 2007, and its controversial takeover by MyFootballClub in November of the same year. , but a bid was never made. He featured heavily in the Dons' 2010–11 season which culminated in promotion to the football league
