Fitzpatrick is a winger who joined St. Pats from schoolboy side Quarryvale F.C. before the start of the 2005 season. After a serious of impressive displays for the Under 21 side, Luke was voted the club's Under 21 Player of the Year. He made his senior debut for St. Pats away to Dublin City FC early in 2006 season. Fitzpatrick was also a member of the FAI Cup
