 system being built in Ludhiana, Punjab. The first corridor of Ludhiana Metro will be 15.798 km long having 14 stations. The second corridor will be 13.035 km long with 13 stations. It will cost around . A detailed feasibility study has been done by Delhi Metro

On 22 June 2011, the Punjab Government cabinet gave its nod for the execution of the metro project in the Public- Private Partnership (PPP) or Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model.

Network

The two proposed corrdors are
  • Ayali Chowk to BBMB Power House Corridor (15.79 Km).
  • Gill Village to Rahon Road Chungi Corridor (13.03 Km).
