The track "For The Love of The Song" makes several humorous and self-deprecating references to the group's earlier song, "The Beaten Path", from 2002's "Black Out". The beginning lyrics to the song "The Beaten Path" can be heard as the song fades to an end.

The music video for their single "Lovers Need Lawyers" was filmed inside the gymnasium of the old West Harrison Elementary School in Pisgah, IA. The video features people of the community and students from the current West Harrison High School.
