Love is the first solo Edyta Bartosiewicz
album. However, she doesn't identify herself with the lyrical content as, in her own words, she considers it to be "too womanlike and pastel, and I'm not always like this". It's been recorded entirely in English and has reached gold status in Poland. Although released by Chrisalis for British market, it failed to make an impact on broader audience. Edyta received the Amber Nightingale award at 1992 Sopot Festival for this album, although her performance wasn't favorably received, likely due to English character of the songs, her performing in a Polish Artist category.
