LA 113 is a mostly rural two lane highway with a maximum speed limit of 55 miles (88.5 km) per hour and a minimum of as slow as 25 miles (40.2 km) per hour in some sharp curves. The southern terminus is at an intersection with U.S. 190 in Allen Parish and the northern terminus at an intersection with U.S. Route 165 in Rapides Parish.
