Louis Schwartzberg, also known as Louie Schwartzberg, is an American director, producer, and cinematographer. He is the founder of stock footage firm 'Energy' and a contributor to Getty Images.

Career

Louie graduated from UCLA Film School with an MFA in the early seventies. In 1982 he provided additional cinematography for the film Koyanisquatsi 

In 2004 Schwartzberg directed America's Heart and Soul released by Walt Disney Pictures.

During his 30 years as a filmmaker, Louie Schwartzberg has won many awards. He is also recognized as a pioneer in high-end time-lapse cinematography
