 that formed in late 1997. Their lyrics are predominantly written in English, but also in Spanish. The lineup includes: Bernie (vocals), Hassan (bass), Tarek (guitar), Jesse (guitar/vocals), Edgar "Chief" (tenor sax), Nicasio (Trombone), Hecky(Drums) and guest musicians on instruments such as trumpet, violin, keyboards, violin and accordion.

They are well known in the Tijuana music scene, but since the release of their first record, Rebuilding the world (One shot Records, 2001), they have played different venues around the world. , playing in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco Dallas, Hollywood, Portland, Seattle and Denver.

They performed on The 2005 Vans Warped Tour with bands such as The Offspring, Strung Out, No Use for a Name, Mxpx, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, and Fallout Boy. In 2006 they became the first Mexican and Latin-American band to be on the Vans Warped tour compilation CD with the song "Short Fuse". in October and November 2007, after the band released their third record (the first one to be almost all in Spanish), Los Kung Fu Monkeys, on their own record label (Riot Radio Records 2006 Mex/Übersee Records EU 2007), they toured Europe for the first time.they performed in countries such as Germany, France, Austria, the Czech Republic.

They have performed at many festivals in Mexico, such as the Cervatino Festival in Guanajuato, Festival Rock Sinaloa X ,Festival Extremo 2008 and also Opening for the Dropkick Murphys as part of the bands Mexican tour. In 2009 the band toured Europe for the second time, visiting countries like Belgium, Germany and The United Kingdom, this time promoting the release of thir E.P. "Lobo Hombre en Paris exclusively for Europe and the UK " on Übersee Records march 2009.

In late 2009 Los Kung Fu Monkeys Supported NOFX and Mad Caddies as part of the bands mini tour of Mexico.
summer 2010 los kung fu monkeys traveled to Canada for the first time to play at the Victoria festival in B.C. , Along with Fishbone, Aggrolites,Cherry Poppin Daddy's, Katchafire and many more.

They have gotten video and radio airplay in many national stations, like Reactor and Telehit, and press coverage in the United States, such as in Alternative Press. They are one of the few bands in Mexico to be sponsored by Fender Guitars.

Currently on tour and writing/recording their Next album for a 2011 Release.
