 at the age of 19. In his first season he scored seven goals in twenty two games. His performances for club attracted interest from over clubs in Paraguay in which he eventually signed for Olimpia in 2010. After a season he left for Independiente FBC

 in 2011 where he netted eight goals in seventeen games. After a very successful season he was signed by Portuguese giants Benfica. After being bought by Benfica he was sent out on a season's long loan to Paços Ferreira where he scored on his debut in a 2-1 home win over União de Leiria.
