). LSR seeks to provide an 'Independent. Objective. Unbiased' approach to macroeconomic research and concentrates on providing information to the corporate/financial services segment of the research market. As well as research the LSR also hosts a series of seminars in many major financial centres, with both its own economists and guest speakers. It is a strong believer in broad money and credit developments and in market deregulation. The chief economist and chairman is Charles Dumas.
