Liz grew up at Sunshine Beach, Noosa. However attended school at St Peters Lutheran College in Brisbane.
Following school Cantor attended Griffith University
on the Gold Coast and received majors in media communications, journalism and broadcast.
Liz has been with the Seven Network
since 2005, after winning the reality television series The Mole
. She won over $200,000 in prize money.
Cantor has appeared in two Australian movies, Gettin' Squared and Blurred, as a billed extra and appeared in Blue Water High
in 2005 as Corin Hardy.
A keen surfer, Liz was sponsored by Billabong for five years while competing on the Australian Junior Series and World Qualifying series. Liz was one of the first ever female surf judges to travel at an international level on the ASP
and World Circuit Tour to destinations such as Fiji, Hawaii, Europe and the Gold Coast 2000-2002.
She continues to surf recreationally and is currently sponsored by surfbrand ROXY.
