The album was released on September 15, 2009. An official announcement about the album was released on the Dave Matthews Band's official website on August 6, 2009. Concert

The concert selected for the release was recorded during the seventh show on the band's summer tour in 2000, and was the first night of a two-night stand at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The set included 18 songs, three of which featured guest Dan Myers on the saxophone. Two song teases were performed solely by Dave Matthews during the show. The first took place before the opening song, where Matthews teased the song "Little Thing", which was later partially played during the show, making it the first performance on the song since 1996. The second tease was "Build You a House", a song from The Lillywhite Sessions
