History

In 1980s and 1990s, the area known now as the Little Rock River Market struggled. Like many cities around the country, Little Rock saw businesses and residents depart its central business district as its suburbs expanded.
From 1996 to 2006, the River Market District has seen almost $780 million in development since its inception.
