Plot

Created and directed by Tony Garth and with Executive Production by Russell Neale Dever and Teresa Plummer-Andrews the British animated series Little Monsters dealt with a band of youthful "horrors" who may have been troublesome but were essentially lovable. Despite their best efforts to get along with the "normal" world, the Little Monsters could not help but wreak havoc wherever they went, if for no other reason than who they were. Jimmy Hibbert, a prolific British cartoon voice-over man, was principal writer. First telecast in 1998, the five-minute episodes of Little Monsters were put together by the combined forces of Crazy Cartoons and Splash! Little Monsters was also translated into Scottish Gaelic, known as Na Bleigeardan. In France it was broadcast by TF1 under the titles Petites Crapules, in Germany on SuperRTL as Kliene Monsters and in Italy on RAI2 and RAI1 as Adorabili Pesti. The shows were also broadcast in Spain, South Africa, Israel, the Middle East, Singapore, China, South Korea and Japan and certain Latin Countries in 2010 the series was made available on CD in the USA though it has never enjoyed a general broadcast stateside.
