, was released in January 2011. The games are all published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe

The series is noted for having a strong focus on user-generated content
. In all of the games, the player can build their own levels and share them online with other users on the PlayStation Network. This is reflected in the series' tagline, "Play. Create. Share."
The games in the series have been well-received by critics with the PlayStation 3 game and the PSP game attaining Metacritic
scores of 95% and 87% respectively.
Tarsier Studios
, Fireproof Studios and Supermassive Games also contribute to the development of the PlayStation 3 games, creating in-game assets including costumes, backgrounds and stickers.
