champion. It was created in 2002 by former PIHA Commissioner Charles Yoder, and is the oldest inline hockey trophy in the United States.
Since the 2002 season, the trophy has been won a combined nine times by two active PIHA teams and three defunct teams. The Pennsylvania Typhoon

, have won the Founders Cup three times and made the finals an additional time.
