This is a list of English Football League managers. It includes every manager currently managing a club in the Premier League and The Football League
, in order of the date of their appointment. The Premier League and Football Leagues are the only two fully professional football leagues in England, and consist of 92 clubs in total. The Premier League consists of 20 clubs at the top of the English football league system

Some of these managers were appointed as caretaker manager
s prior to being given a permanent position; if so their caretaker appointment date is denoted in italics.
