Lip Magazine

lip magazine is an advertisement-free, quarterly magazine targeted at young women aged 14–26. The first issue of lip magazine was launched in 2002 by founding editor Rachel Funari. The publication recently relaunched itself as a print-on-demand product.

The current editor-in-chief of the magazine is Zoya Patel. lip is staffed entirely by volunteers, many of whom are based in Canberra.

lip radio was a collaboration between lip magazine and SYN 90.7 FM that ran between 2004 and 2007. The show featured regular segments, interviews and discussion about being a girl in today's society.
