Lyndy continued to act after leaving the show, appearing in the West End, but upon turning 30 she decided to quit showbusiness. She worked in sales support for an educational book publisher. She gave birth to her first child in 2003. Lyndy is currently work as a HR Administrator for a financial services company based in the outskirts of Oxford.
