It has been published under that name since June 2003. It was published under its previous name, 24 Hours, from January 1976.
The magazine was originally a child of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation
's classical music radio station, ABC Classic FM
, and existed primarily to provide program details for the station’s listeners. It is now independently owned and published by Haymarket Media, but still maintains a strong affiliation with the ABC, and is the only place where ABC Classic FM’s programs for the forthcoming month are listed, apart from the station's own website.
It also features programs on ABC Radio National
, ABC Local Radio
, ABC NewsRadio
and Triple J
, as well as highlights from ABC Television
, ABC Online, Radio National and Classic FM.
The magazine now focusses on the arts in general, but on the classical music scene in particular.
