Schiff founded the Armchair Millionaire website in 1997. One of the first online communities where people came together to share their stories of investing success, the website was one of the fastest growing sites of the iVillage network for several years.
In 2001, Schiff’s first book, The Armchair Millionaire (Simon & Schuster) was published based on the website’s philosophy, that investing intelligently requires little more than common sense, discipline, patience and a goal-oriented mentality.
He lives in New York City
with his wife Lynette and son Jacob.
