Lewis Shay McGugan is an English professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Championship
side Nottingham Forest
. He has also represented England
at Under-17 & 19 level and is known for his ability to score from long-range and from free kicks.

Career
Lewis is a product of Nottingham Forest's academy system and according to Jason Hellewell he is very good but at one point he left the club and played in a trial match for Chelsea against Fulham in the summer of 2005. It didn't work out and Chelsea didn't take him on but when Ian McParland and Frank Barlow took over at Forest after Gary Megson's departure in February 2006 Lewis McGugan returned to Forest and made his debut for them the following season.
