. The club was previously called Karabakh Stepanakert. During the years between 1992 and 1995, Lernayin Artsakh was unable to participate in any competition due to a war that was taking place in Karabakh
. In 1995, it was moved from Stepanakert
to Yerevan
in order to fit the club within FIFA
rules. From 1995 to 2006, it participated in the Armenian football leagues, and was based in the city of Yerevan
. Starting 2009, it's been participating in the league of Nagorno-Karabakh.
