The Wild West sets were introduced in the late summer of 1996. It was released August 1996 in Europe and September 1996 in North America. The Indians sets came out in 1997. After that, the Wild West sets were discontinued. In late 2001, three Wild West sets (Sheriff's Lock-up, Fort Legoredo, and Rapid River Village) were rereleased.
