The Jamesway
store in the mall, which had been an anchor since its opening at the Ledgewood Mall in 1978, closed in December 1995 following the company's liquidation. The Ledgewood Mall's Jamesway store would hold a weekly bingo game for senior citizens, a practice that was ended as the store began the process of closing down. By 1999, Walmart had opened in the former Jamesway building, and Circuit City was added as well, this store has since closed. A Pharmhouse drugstore
