Leama & Moor are a DJ
and production
duo of Andrew Beardmore (also known as Andy Moor) and Marty Leama hailing from the UK
. They have begun their music in 1999 under Leama's solo project with the songs "Requiem For A Dream" and "Melodica" before they officially formed the duo Leama & Moor. They released singles on the label Lost Language
and have performed remix duties for producers such as Space Manoeuvres, Tiësto
and Starkid
. Their first project under their guise was their remix of "Signet" by 2 Players. The first two original songs from the Leama & Moor guise were called "Shades of Blue" and "Shades of Red", and were released as a single on Primal Recordings.
In June 2006, they released their debut album entitled Common Ground which is a continuous artist set that takes the listener on a journey through ambient soundscape and cinematic textures. The lead single "Everything Matters", remixed by Matthew Dekay, is featured on Tiësto
's In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles mix compilation. The next single off the album, "Waiting" features Jan Johnston
on vocals.
