television and film actress and musician. She is best known for her role as "Karen Jackson" in the Showtime television series Shameless.
and started performing in local theatre productions from an early age. From the age of 16, Laura began focusing on film acting and after graduating from high school she moved to the west coast to attend college and continue her acting career.
Outside of acting, she enjoys singing and playing acoustic & bass guitar in the band Dawn Soir, and also creative writing.
