The junior club is run as the "Westside Devils Soccer Club" with age groups from Under 7 to Under 16, and one of the largest junior soccer clubs in the state with over 400 junior soccer players.

 and have links to the club. Prior to the cessation of ethnic affiliations by Australian football clubs in 1997, Launceston City were known as Launceston Juventus.

City was particularly dominant in the 1960s, when they won every season except 1964. Although Northern Tasmania's most successful club with 19 Northern titles, they have failed to repeat their dominance of the 60s.

The club also has a women's team which has been dominate at the turn of the new century picking up 4 out of 6 Premier League titles and gone 4 Premier League seasons unbeaten from 2005 to 2008.

Launceston City fields teams in the Northern Premier League, Premier League Reserves, Under 18's, and currently has two Northern Premier League Teams as well as two Northern Division One teams with over 100 registered players.

In 1978 Launceston Juventus relocated from the their home ground at White City Greyhound Stadium to Mitsubishi Park located in Prospect where the club is still playing home games till this day. Mitsubishi Park has two playing grounds, fully functional flood lights for night games, clubrooms, change rooms.
