Larry Allen Burright is a former second baseman

in 1956. He signed with the Dodgers the following year and played a few seasons in their minor league organization. In 1961, he hit .255 and was called up to major league club in 1962. Burright played second base for the Dodgers along with Jim Gilliam
. He hit just .205 in 1962 and is probably best remembered for two poor fielding plays he made in that year's playoff game against the San Francisco Giants
.
Burright was traded to the Mets in the offseason. He didn't play much in 1963 and was sent to the minor league Buffalo Bisons
in early 1964. He batted .224 for Buffalo.
Burright retired from baseball in 1965.
