The Lambeth Country Show a large community gathering that takes place in Brockwell Park
in Lambeth
every year generally on the third weekend of July. There are many events at the show funded by Lambeth Council. There are: horse riding displays, displays of birds of prey and owls, many animals from local city farms, a fun fair, musical performances from quite well known bands, a crafts display, most community groups have a presence at the show and there are a wide variety of foods and drinks available.
About 180,000 people attend the show and come from all sectors of the diverse inner-london community.
The 2010 show was the 36th.
