The community's length is about 1 km, where much of the buildings are lying next to the road connecting Araxos and Kato Achaia. North of the village are small hills. It is famous for its beaches while the hotels are in the northeastern part. The southern part remains flat and used for farming - The village is famous worldwide for the potatoes it produces. Mavri Myti, in the northern part has a sandy beach, and a hill founded to the east. Beach plants are in the western part of Mavri Myti. It includes a view of parts of Messolongi and much of southern Aetolia-Acarnania
