This charming village lies at the very south west tip of the Plateau de Vaucluse, which rises behind the village, and on which one can walk or climb for miles.

The road through the village is narrow enough that few bus or coach tours try to visit or pass through, thus the village retains its charm without being invaded by hoosts of tourists.

In the village square, there is a beautiful water fountain, and around the edge of the square there is a church, a Tabac, La Poste, a small Epicerie and Boulangerie. Down the hill about 150 metres there is the Auberge de Lagnes with good, well priced dishes and friendly service.
