Demographics

As per the 2001 census, Kulamangalam had a total population of 2811 with 1405 males and 1406 females. The sex ratio was 1001. The literacy rate was 70.33.and one Govt.High School,Govt.Vetarnary Hospital is there in near Thiruvalluvar kalai koodam.In Centre the biggest Temple (Sheevaga SINTHAMANI AMMAN), In West SRI BHOODHAYANAR Temple, In North Swamy Iyyapan Temple is there. This village is most wonterful green area and nearest down is Orathanadu. In this Village mostly Hindus, some Christians and no one Muslims. In Hindus several caste is there, mainly Kallar and majority in kallar "KALINGARAYAR" is most of the people in this village. Every children are should be studying in higher education level. Maximum students are studying in Engineering and arts & Science colleges at likely Thanjavur and Trichy.
