The school was later renamed Central British School, as Europeans from all over Hong Kong wanted to send their children there. In 1935, the school was rebuilt in Ho Man Tin
. The primary sector later split from the secondary sector, (currently called King George V School
, which is next to the primary school).
The primary school section now operates on two campuses: Year 1 to 3 students attend the Perth Street campus while Year 4 to 6 students attend the Rose Street Campus. The two campuses are about 3 km apart.

History
Kowloon Junior School was founded in 1902 as the Kowloon British School. The building was paid for by a rich Hong Kong businessman, Sir Robert Hotung, and was open only to European schoolchildren. At first, only about 50 students attended the school.The school was later renamed Central British School, as Europeans from all over Hong Kong wanted to send their children there. In 1935, the school was rebuilt in Ho Man Tin

School fee
The school fee is approximately 7000 HKD per month, like most other ESF primary schools. There are 150 children in each year group and 450 students at each campus. In every class, there is a teacher and an EA (educational assistant).Breaks
KJS students have two recess times: one for snack and one for lunch. The snack break is 15 minutes while the lunch break lasts for 50 minutes.Houses
