Origin

The Kondes are subclan of Dalvi clan of Marathas. The Dalvis are from lodorva ( Rajasthan ) and Parmar Rajput Branch. As Dalvis settled in Maharashtra some of their families moved to Desh i.e. western Maharashtra and gained the name of Konde and served Bahamani Sultanates of Deccan. The Kondes granted title of Deshmukh and Patil being watandars by the Sultanates.
