Konda is the tribal language spoken by Konda Doras in Pedabayalu, Paderu, Araku Valley of Vishakapatnam District belonging to Andhra Pradesh. Konda Language belongs to the Dravidian Language Family. Rajiv Vidya Mission, Government of AP has come out with Multilingual Education to educate the Kondadoras by developing Curriculum in their culture since November 2003. Mr.Gumidyala Venkat Ramesh, MLE Linguist has developed (on behalf of Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh) Alphabet Charts, Textbooks fopr Classes I - V, Big Books, Small Books, Dictionary etc. for the Multilingual Education. with the help of International Consultants like Pamela mackenzie, Mr & Mrs Steve Simpson, Jessie Grover, Mary, Mr & Mrs Mark Penny, etc. the Multilingual Education has come into being with the Financial Support from Education Departmnent, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Some of the Konda Teachers who worked for MLE Programme are Janni Somi, Appanna Dora, Dumberi Pothu Raju, Soyobi Gundu, K, Rama Rao, K. Donnu, etc.
