Koka Nikoladze is a musician (born in Georgia 1989).
After graduating music school entered Tbilisi State Conservatoire (Specialty violin, 2006).
In 2008 entered the same conservatoire (Specialty composition).
In 2010 graduated Tbilisi State Conservatoire as a violinist and entered State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart
(Specialty Composition).
During studying period his violin professor was Ernst Arakelov.

As a violinist he had performed solo and chamber music in Georgia, Russia, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, USA
and Germany; played in orchestras as an orchestral musician and with orchestras as a soloist.
Nikoladze had mostly composed “new music” for chamber ensembles as well as postproduction music.
One of the major directions is theatre music.

Among recently performed compositions are:
“Sonata” for Violin and Piano;
"Knock on the sky and listen to the sound" for bowed guitar and trumpet and songs, which are mostly film
soundtracks.
Since late 2010 and 2011 the composer is experimenting with Georgian traditional music folklore (dialectics,
micro chromatics).
One of the latest compositions - “Mze” is strongly influenced with upper mentioned music.
The latest compositios are “Theatral episode for String Quartet (Time Bend)” written for “Arts Dialogue festival”
