. Founded on October 12, 1994, KCC is the first arts and science college to be established at Kodaikanal by the House of Abrahams Charitable Trust under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Abraham.

KCC offers eight undergraduate degrees and two postgraduate degrees. The college has seven departments:
  • Department of Hotel Management,
  • Department of Management Studies,
  • Department of Commerce,
  • Department of Computer Science and Information Technology,
  • Department of Economics,
  • Department of Social Work,
  • Department of Foreign Trade.

Campus

Located 7000 feet (2,133.6 m) above sea level on Paradise Hill, KCC's campus is spread over 30 acres (121,405.8 m²) of mountainous terrain. The campus contains academic, administrative, recreational and residential facilities.
  • Abraham Administrative Building houses the offices of management in the college (Chairman, Director, Provost, Dean, Controller of Exams, Bursar, Human Resources and the Office Superintendent). The Abraham Hall is located on the second floor, where the daily college assembly, seminars and cultural programs take place.

  • Sherwin Abraham Computer Centre houses the Department of Computer Science and IT's computer labs. Over 50 internet ready computers are available for student and faculty use along with the department's media center for graphics.

  • Trinity Music Centre houses the music wing, affiliated with Trinity School of Music (UK). The music lab has a grand piano, percussion instruments, and string instruments.


  • Duke's Hall and Chamber houses the Department of Hotel Management. It includes a quantity kitchen, two basic kitchens, a bakery, restaurant and bar for practicals, housekeeping rooms, a mock front office, and classrooms.

  • Abraham Academic Building is the main academic hub that holds the classes for every department including the college library. Over 30 LCD ready classrooms are available for use along with an electronics lab.

  • Adoni Sports Field is the highest sports playground in southern Asia, hosting KCC's Annual Sports Day.

Sports and recreation

Not only does KCC have Adoni Sports Field for sports activities, but a full length basketball court, a racquetball/squash ball court, a badminton facility, gym and TV room.

Hostels

Over 90% of the college is residential. Hostel facilities are provided for their stay.
  • Wesley Hall is the resort housing (room with attached bathroom) for the first year undergraduate students.
  • Luther Hall is the resort housing (two rooms with common living room and bathroom) for the second year undergraduate students.
  • Presidential Block is the newly constructed housing (room with attached bathroom) for the third year undergraduate students.
  • Calvin Hall is the resort housing for the postgraduate students of the college.
  • Girls Hostel is the hostel complex made up of five resort houses for all the girls studying at the college.
