True to his actions on the gridiron and a disciplined approach to life, Anders relied upon like strategies when he establish the Foundation which benefits Kansas City's urban youth by providing programs and opportunities that support all aspects of positive personal growth and well-being. His focus is to help at-risk youth strengthen their character, morals and values – tools that can improve their lives as they strive to make positive contributions to society. The mission of The Running Back Giving Back Foundation seeks to empower urban youth by providing mentoring opportunities, educational programs and professional services that promote self-esteem and improve lives.
Kimble is also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs
Ambassadors. The Kansas City Chief's Ambassadors organization was formed in 1989, when several former Chief players met with the management of the Kansas City Chiefs with the idea of volunteering to work with the team. They would promote goodwill in the community and assist in any way they could in helping achieve the goal of maintaining consistent quality football for the Kansas City Chief's fans. The idea was heartily endorsed by management and has developed into an organization that has been highly successful in achieving its objectives. The Ambassadors are a close-knit group made up of your former Kansas City Chiefs, some of whom starred in the Chiefs' only Super Bowl win. The Ambassadors have become a recognizable group throughout the NFL and an innovative and worthy asset to the community and players of the Chiefs both past and present. It needs to be mentioned that the Ambassadors are the only group of its kind in the NFL and inductees into the group are hand-picked based mostly on tenure and their willingness to participate in Ambassador events and meetings. The Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors support our community with local scholarship programs, fund raisers, high school coach, teacher of the year programs and charity golf tournaments. The Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors work along side the Kansas City Chiefs to promote goodwill throughout the Kansas City area and enjoy helping to maintain the quality of football for the Chief's fans.
