History
Khankhels were the elders of the swati army which invaded Mansehra in Mughal era. Abdul Rehman Khan known as Pahi Khan Baba came to Pakhal Sarkar along with Syed Jalal Baba who was a descendant of Pir Baba of Swat.Ruler of the Pakhal Sarkar who was also Father in Law of Jalal Shah become their enemy as they became popular because of their attributes. Jalal Baba and Abdul Rehman Khan went back to swat after Sultan Mehmud's (Sultan of Pakhal) attempts of murdering him (JalalBaba). They came back with an army of Pakhtoon tribes headed by Abdul Rehman Khan and invaded Pakhali.Notable people
