Synopsis

Karin (24) marries Andre (26), A playboy. They live together with Andre's parents, Lukman (50) and Yanti (45) and also with Julia (21), Andre's sister, and Wulan (29), Lukman's sister who behaves just like a 10 yr old. Karin lives in suffering, pressurized by Yanti. Everyday Karin does the housework and has no time at all to look after herself that this makes Andre not appreciate her at all and he in fact goes and has an affair with another woman. But Karin really trusts Andre. Karin only hopes to get pregnant soon because after her miscarriage, she has been trying to get pregnant for nearly 5 years since then.When Agnes (24) returns, her friend from Australia who at one time was going out with Dimas (26), Karin's brother, it destroys all her hopes because Karin knows that Agnes and Andre are having an affair since a long time and they even have a child, Senta (4). Rina (45) and Firman (50), Karin's parents, and Dimas are shocked when they hear this.They never expected Agnes whom they had considered like their own daughter, to do something like this and hurt Karin. Andre, in fact, even dares to drown Karin in the middle of the sea when she gets pregnant. Andre then lies and tells everyone that Karin committed suicide.

On the other hand, Wisnu (25), Vera's( 45) adopted son, looks for Winda (24), Vera's daughter who kills herself because Wisnu refuses her love. Wisnu then finds Karin stranded and saves her. Vera feels sorry for her after hearing her story. She asks Karin to change her name and status to Winda. Vera's efforts are not in vain. Karin changes and becomes a beautiful and strong woman. She works at Vera's saloon. Slowly but surely, Karin attains happiness which had been destroyed by Agnes. Lukman's family gets bankrupt. Vera is always supportive of Karin because she wants to take revenge on Lukman, who, as it turns out, is her ex-husband and Wulan their daughter.

After all this, Karin marries Wisnu but sadness strikes again when Winda comes back. She is still alive. Agnes helps Winda in getting back at Karin. Winda and Wisnu finally get married. But apparently Agnes is suffering from cancer and is going to die. Andre is by her side and Karin helps Agnes and Senta get close again at the last moment. Winda slowly realizes that Wisnu doesn't love her. She finally gives her blessings to Wisnu to get back with Karin.
